A branch of the Office of the President, University Programs and Events strives to enrich University life through innovative programming and community-focused events.
Featuring leading scholars and other prominent figures from across disciplines and around the world, our programs spark thought and dialogue on a broad spectrum of issues. Addressing topics ranging from environmental initiatives to the language of race to theater and the neurosciences, these lively discussions enhance the student experience and strengthen University partnerships on campus and throughout the world.
Our events range from the time-honored 25-Year Club Dinner to the more recent tradition of Lee C. Bollinger's Fun Run each September. Partnering with colleagues across the University, we are proud to present events both large and small to engage the diverse, dynamic, and cosmopolitan community that is Columbia University in the City of New York.
